earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0(Colossians 1:16)<\/p>\n<p>There is another world that exists at this very moment on a parallel plane.\u00a0 It is invisible to the human eye, but just as real as the world we see.\u00a0 This invisible world influences everything that goes on in the earth.\u00a0 As a matter of fact, the earth itself was created from what we cannot see.<\/p>\n<div class=\"aiovg-player-container\" style=\"max-width: 100%;\"><div class=\"aiovg-player aiovg-player-iframe\" style=\"padding-bottom: 56.25%;\"><iframe allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div><\/div>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cThrough faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0(Hebrews 11:3)<\/p>\n<p>Weymouth\u2019s translation says that \u201cwhat is seen does not owe its existence to that which is visible.\u201d\u00a0 What is visible to our eyes is only a very small part of what science knows to exist.\u00a0 Imagine the things that exist that our technology can\u2019t detect!\u00a0 One of these days we may actually have instruments that can detect this other world, what we call the \u201cspirit world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In this other world are angels, disembodied spirits, fallen angels, and other living creatures that we have never seen (See Revelation 4:6).\u00a0 There are indications that every creature and perhaps every creation has a \u201cdouble\u201d in the spirit world.\u00a0 There are even horses and chariots of \u201cfire\u201d (II Kings 2:11).\u00a0 And who knows just exactly what it was that Ezekiel saw?<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who says that they only believe what they can see, hasn\u2019t given much thought to our world.\u00a0 We believe in gravity, electricity, and radio waves, and no one argues that they don\u2019t exist.\u00a0 Right now, the room you are sitting in is being bombarded with voices and music.\u00a0 You can\u2019t hear it because you aren\u2019t tuned to the right frequency.\u00a0 Turn on your radio receiver and you will hear the sound that is coming from the invisible sound waves that are inaudible to our ears.<\/p>\n<p>Why would it be so much more difficult to believe that the spirit world exists?\u00a0 We are just tuned in to a different frequency.\u00a0 Our natural ears cannot even hear some sounds that animals can readily hear.\u00a0 It is very possible that all that exists in the unseen realm can be as easily understood as electricity or radio waves.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where Angels Dwell<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Many years ago, my father and I were taking a trip to Tulsa from Arkansas.\u00a0 As we were flying along, I was meditating on the spirit realm when suddenly the Holy Spirit gave me an example of how it operates.<\/p>\n<p>Before we started the engine the propeller was stationary and I could see both blades clearly.\u00a0 However, once the engine was started, I could only see the outline of the propeller.\u00a0 When we were cruising, the propeller was turning so fast that I couldn\u2019t even see it.\u00a0 The Scriptures began to pour into my mind.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cBut if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>(Romans 8:11)<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><em>\u201cFor the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.<\/em>\u201d\u00a0\u00a0(Hebrews 4:12)<\/p>\n<p>The reason that the propeller was invisible to my eyes was that it was \u201cquick.\u201d\u00a0 It was too fast for me to see.\u00a0 What if the angels are in a plane that is moving much faster than our human eyes can see?\u00a0 Perhaps the atoms that make up the substance of their being are moving so quickly that we cannot see them even though they are present.\u00a0 Maybe they have to slow down to enable us to see them!<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Do you know who you are?<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The natural habitat for us as spirit beings is the spirit world.\u00a0 We came from that world and will return to it.\u00a0 We have been born into the earth for a plan and purpose.\u00a0 In order to fulfill that purpose, we have been given an earthsuit\u2014a body.\u00a0 This earthsuit slows us down!\u00a0 At the moment of death, we escape this body that has dragged us down and are released into the unseen world where we will see Christ and those who have gone on before.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Near Death Experiences<br \/>\nand Disembodied Spirits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have been fascinated when studying near death experiences.\u00a0 Some of those who died and were resuscitated reported that upon leaving their body they encountered a \u201cbeing of light\u201d that emanated perfect love and perfect understanding.\u00a0 Christ was revealed to them in such a way that it changed the way they looked at life.\u00a0 Most of these people were met and comforted by friends and relatives who had died before them.<\/p>\n<p>There were also those who encountered disembodied spirits who were desperately trying to satisfy their cravings and lusts for drugs, alcohol, and murderous thoughts.\u00a0 Because they didn\u2019t have a body, they were tormented by their inability to satisfy their lusts.\u00a0 These disembodied spirits sought to enter into people who had compromised their will through the use of pornography, alcohol, or drugs.\u00a0 By entering the body of a human being they could express themselves in this world.<\/p>\n<p>Suddenly, I was aware of the importance of being healed in the soulish realm.\u00a0 It is with our will that we resist the evil forces of this other world.\u00a0 When we are compromised or weakened in our emotions, we become less likely to be led by the Spirit and more likely to be influenced by the negative.\u00a0 Whether it is negative people or spirits, we need to be strong to resist the wrong influences.<\/p>\n<p>Many of those who are patients in mental institutions have been wounded or weakened in their minds and emotions and as a result are more open to the influence of spirits.\u00a0 Some are even possessed of evil spirits and voice the thoughts and feelings of these unseen evil forces.<\/p>\n<p>It is so very important for us to protect our minds and emotions and strengthen our will.\u00a0 The healthier we are physically and spiritually the more likely we are to hear God\u2019s voice and not the voice of the enemy.\u00a0 Christ was sent to heal the brokenhearted.\u00a0 He wants us to accomplish our purpose on earth.\u00a0 To do so we need to be whole\u2014spirit, soul, and body.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Using Unseen Ability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>How do we successfully resist the wrong influence of the spirit world and join forces with the angelic kingdom?<\/p>\n<p><strong>(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Word of God<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is quick!\u00a0 When you speak the Word, you release unseen power to change circumstances to conform to God\u2019s will.\u00a0 Choose to speak words of faith and life!<\/p>\n<p><strong>(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Faith<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is the unseen force with an energy that can move mountains.\u00a0 It is the\u00a0<em>substance<\/em>\u00a0of things\u00a0<em>hoped<\/em>\u00a0for, the evidence of things not seen.\u00a0 What do you believe?\u00a0 Who do you believe?\u00a0 I challenge you to choose to believe the Word is working mightily in and through you!\u00a0 The Scriptures give us insight into how we set God\u2019s laws of the spirit world in motion on earth.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/em><em>\u00a0\u201cFor assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, \u2018Be removed and be cast into the sea,\u2019 and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.\u00a0 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0(Mark 11:23-24\u00a0 \u00a0NKJV)<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u201cAnd the apostles said to the Lord, \u2018Increase our faith.\u2019\u00a0 So the Lord said, If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, \u2018Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,\u2019 and it would obey you.\u201d<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0(Luke 17:5-6\u00a0\u00a0 NKJV)<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0\u00a0\u201cAnd whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0\u00a0(Matthew 21:22\u00a0\u00a0 NKJV)<\/p>\n<p><strong>(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Imagination<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, imagination!\u00a0 You\u2019ve used your imagination to create images and feelings of fear and failure.\u00a0 Choose words and thoughts that will create an image of victory over every situation.\u00a0 A classic example is found in II Kings 6 where Elisha and his servant were surrounded by Syria\u2019s army.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u201cAnd when the servant of the man of God arose early and went out, there was an army, surrounding the city with horses and chariots. And his servant said to him, \u2018Alas, my master! What shall we do?\u2019\u00a0 So he answered, \u2018Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.\u2019 And Elisha prayed, and said, \u2018Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.\u2019 Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.\u201d<\/em><em><br \/>\n<\/em>(II Kings 6:15-17\u00a0\u00a0 NKJV)<\/p>\n<p>The servant\u2019s imagination ran wild when he saw the city was completely surrounded and it\u00a0<u>appeared\u00a0<\/u>there was no hope.<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever been there?\u00a0 Well, if we look at the natural realm, it does sometimes look hopeless, but if we could see in the spirit realm, we would be amazed at what is happening.<\/p>\n<p>You see, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal &#8211; that is, they are not on the physical level.\u00a0 You will never win without the weapons of the Spirit, because the\u00a0<u>real<\/u>\u00a0battle is not what you see in physical manifestation.\u00a0 The real battle is in the unseen realm where principalities and powers are attempting to rule and reign in darkness and\u00a0<u>influence<\/u>\u00a0the physical world.<\/p>\n<p>But&#8230;there are a host of angels, including Michael and his forces who are energized by the spoken, quickening Word of God.\u00a0 The power of the Word affects not only the physical changes in this realm, but gives power to the hosts of heaven to defeat the wicked spirits in heavenly places.<\/p>\n<p>Elisha and his servant\u2019s victory was won through the help of unseen forces, and your victory will come in the same manner.<\/p>\n<p><strong>(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Prayer of Agreement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are up against a hard situation, find someone who is strong in faith and ask them to join with you in agreement.\u00a0 Be certain that they can agree with you.\u00a0 Your agreement should always be on God\u2019s best outcome for the situation. \u00a0Don\u2019t limit God in how He should work it out!\u00a0 Speak God\u2019s Word in faith, for when you do you are giving angels an assignment.<\/p>\n<p>When you operate in God\u2019s principles, His angels and all His forces can work for you!\u00a0 Psalm 91 is a wonderful Scripture to confess daily.\u00a0 I encourage you to paraphrase it and make it a personal confession.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have made the Lord,\u00a0<u>my<\/u>\u00a0refuge, even the Most High,\u00a0<u>my<\/u>\u00a0habitation, and there shall no evil befall\u00a0<u>me<\/u>, neither shall any plague come near\u00a0<u>my<\/u>\u00a0dwelling.\u00a0 For He gives His angels charge over me to keep me in all my ways.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0(Psalm 91:9-11 Paraphrased)<\/p>\n<p>Psalm 103:20 reveals that the angels hearken to the voice of God\u2019s Word.\u00a0 Make a decision to give voice to His Word daily and empower your angels to work on your behalf.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pvc_clear\"><\/div>\n<p
